About the Symposium

ICEEE was founded in 2010 in the cooperation with 10 International institutions originated from three continents for exchanging the staff members and students and the experiences in the fields of classical and applied environmental engineering as well as the relationship between the environmental sciences and other fields for example, environmental biotechnology, climatic change and environmental health, etc.

Today, people around the world can connect together online, and can access and disseminate vast amounts of knowledge and information quickly and easily. At the same time, increasing the availability of information & openness between these institutions has allowed greater understanding of the challenges facing the future of our global society with the increasing rate of the human population up-to-date.

The mission of ICEEE is to contribute, through collaborative research and education, to efforts to resolve the pressing global problems of human survival, development and welfare that are the concern of the UN, its peoples, and Member States. The call by United Nations (UN) research and training entities builds on UN Member States reaffirmed commitment to effectively implement the 2030 Agenda.

The commitment of ICEEE to fostering innovation, collaboration, knowledge exchange within the scientific community, has led to the establishment of a dedicated hub that focuses on various subject areas, including the environmental health, climatic variations, and the security of biosphere: air, food, water, soil for us and further generations.

The purpose of the VIIIh International Symposium-2024 is to facilitate interactions within the research community to discuss latest developments in this rapidly advancing field and find ways to respond to increasing demands of professionals, communities and industries across the worldwide. It allowed the participants to have different issues addressed on the Environmental Protection and Security of Biosphere by recognized global experts who are up-to-date with the latest developments in this field.

This scientific meeting gives a great opportunity for students, researchers, industrialists and academic professionals to share latest research results in Environmental Security and Environmental Health as well as environmental Management, network with their peers from around the globe and foster new connections that strengthen research and development activities in field of environmental quality. The Symposium provided a platform for all the participants to voice their opinions and concerns as well as promoting discussions for collaborate in future.

Environmental systems are all around us and closely connected to us: ecosystems, food systems, water systems and more. When they deteriorate, it is typically not a simple and predictable process. Rather, the environmental instability slowly builds until suddenly a tipping point is reached and the ecosystem changes fundamentally or even collapses, with potentially catastrophic impacts.

The 17th UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 17), “Partnerships for the Goals”, aims to strengthen the means to implement and revitalize global partnerships for sustainable development in the 7 areas of finance, technology, trade, capacity development, policy coherence, partnerships and data.

Sustainable Development Goal 17 promotes the “right way” of collaboration between different actors through the formation of multi-stakeholder partnerships, which are essential to foster sustainable development.

The premise regarding this point is that these partnerships mobilize the exchange of knowledge, experience, technology and other resources between the different parties to achieve the 2030 global development agenda.

After a great successful of the last VIII. International Symposium-2024 brought together the world’s professions and practitioners from different fields of environmental, applied sciences and environmental engineering, the organizers have the great pleasure to invite you to participate in the programme of the

ONLINE VIII. Symposium 2024 deals with ”Environmental Health and Biosecurity: Sciences, Engineering and Application” during May 09th – May 10th 2024 in Budapest, Hungary.

The VIIIth Symposium-2024 focuses on the theme “Emerging Prospects on Environmental care and Safety” as we try to shed more highlight on this through Panel discussion which includes Plenary, Keynote, Oral, Posters, Workshops, and Special sessions.

It’s an amalgamation of classic and applied Sciences and humanitarian thoughts with Environmental Professionals from across the Globe sharing their knowledge and thoughts about the Fundamental topics related to Environmental care and Safety.

Objectives:

The main approaches of the VIIIth Symposium-2024 are the next:

  • Provide a platform to exchange emerging ideas and investigate key issues such as air-, soil-, water-, nuclear pollution, waste recycling, wastewater, renewable energy technologies, public health issues, etc.
  • Work towards sustainable solutions within a team either personally or online, to identify problems to find solutions or to develop arguments.
  • Solve the problems with creative and innovative strategies and being conscious of global social, cultural and environmental issues in relation to engineering and technology.
  • Highlighting some of the main frameworks in this area and recommending directions for future research.
  • To assess current status and future challenges towards environment sustainability
  • Environmental sustainability, Biotechnology and protection approaches for remediation of polluted soils, water and air as well as human healthcare
  • Use of Bio-Nano-Technologies for clean and sustainable environment
  • Management of waste water and aquatic ecology in water ponds, canals and rivers
  • Circular (Bio)Economy Strategy and Sustainable Energy Research & Applications

The Symposium covered a wide range of highlighting potential issues and paths towards a sustainable future such as:

  • Global climate change and public health
  • Air, water and soil pollution
  • Agriculture and soil degradation, fertilizer, food production and nutrition
